位於宜蘭太平山國家森林遊樂區，海拔1,840公尺，是台灣最大的高山湖泊之一。湖泊四季風情各異，晨昏變化萬千，湖面在雨季可達25公頃之廣闊。翠峰湖周圍被茂密的紅檜林所環繞，構成壯麗的自然風光。這片湖光山色的美景，吸引著無數遊客前來感受大自然的恩賜，並沉浸在這片美麗的湖光山色之中。

太平山中間服務站位於太平山國家森林遊樂區的中心位置，是遊客前往翠峰湖和太平山莊的必經之處。提供多樣化的設施和服務，包括紀念品販售部、生態展示館、以及園區簡介影片播放，讓遊客更深入了解太平山的自然生態與豐富歷史。
►美麗湖光與綠意交織的天然溫泉寶地：鳩之澤(仁澤)溫泉
環境清幽、泉質優良的鳩之澤(仁澤)溫泉，擁有天然的地熱泉源，泉質清澈無色無臭，被譽為「美人湯」，遊客可以在湖畔泡湯、欣賞湖光山色，享受身心靈的放鬆與愉悅。泉區內有昔日流籠頭、吊索橋、軌道等林業歷史遺跡，重現太平山古往今來的懷舊風情，步道全長400公尺，提供遊客一處可見證歷史的療癒步道。

貼心提醒：至鳩之澤泡湯遊客，建議18:00前於入口售票站購票，泡湯時間較為充裕，因為入口售票站至鳩之澤尚有一段路程，而鳩之澤僅營業至19:00。
